About:
Constructed from heavy weight water resistant 1000d nylon fabric the Plate Carrier features ample MOLLE webbing on the front/back panels, a zipped pocked on the front and grab handle on the rear.
The main panel/s, cummerbund and shoulder straps all feature a breathable mesh fabric with inner CCF (Closed Cell Foam) cores. The main panel foam stands proud, reducing the contact area with your chest/back, creating air channels to maximize cooling and comfort over the whole day. For colder/wetter conditions the mesh fabric can swapped with a Marino Softshell, this 3ply design has a comfortable outer fabric, water resistant middle and inner fleece to provide maximum warmth.
The cummerbund features three rows / eight columns of MOLLE webbing. The rear is attached inside the back panel and can be adjusted using the cordage on the rear. This gives around ±260mm of adjustability, enough for most adults. The front is attached using a genuine Duraflex quick release buckle and has an elasticated attachment point to allow the cummerbund fitting to be tight but not too restrictive for breathing/movement.
Shoulder straps can be configured with none/one or two QD buckles as required.
For cleaning/maintenance the CCF is designed to be user removal, allow the plate carrier to be washed/dried or the foam replaced if needed.
